wine country weekend bliss
I like to think of my clay goals as mile markers...this recent dinnerware set helps me mark my path on the larger clay journey.
Ravenswood Art Walk open studio, Lillstreet 209, today and tomorrow from 10-5...I have small sets, serving pieces and cup pairs, here are just a few of the goodies. Stop by or DM me to hold something back for you. Hope to see you!
Dinner plate, salad plate, bowl and mug (in five different pairs), two sets of altered serving dishes, large serving bowl and platter...with carbon trapping up the ying! Feels right on.
Dinner plate, salad plate, bowl and mugs (in five pairs of two) for 10. Two sets of altered serving bowls, large bowl and platter, all with carbon trapping up the ying. Some of my best work to date and I am happy.
Mug shot Monday featuring a few pieces my Friday firing of a dinnerware commission...with 9 months of work inside I was incredibly nervous to open my kiln but am *so very happy* with the results.
Big day yesterday @lillstreetartcenter doing an impromptu Pupper Paw Print collab with mom, finding lost tools, checking her kiln. Such a helpful Pupper.
Friday Night Lights
